“Selection for this fellowship means much more than recognition for personal achievement,” DiLibero said in a statement. “It represents the opportunity to collaborate with renowned leaders in the nursing field and provides new opportunities to amplify my impact in nursing through the advancement of nursing leadership, innovation and education.”

The fellowship also “offers the ability to engage in meaningful dialogues and participate in initiatives that will shape the future of health policy and health equity,” he added.

DiLibero earned his nursing degrees while working as a critical care nurse in the medical intensive care unit of Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
