PROVIDENCE – The R.I. Lottery has signed GTECH Corp. subsidiary Creative Games International to supply 20 percent of its instant-ticket printing services.
The contract – awarded in a competitive procurement process – carries a three-year term that begins July 1, with three one-year extension options.

CGI was acquired late last year by GTECH, a subsidiary of Lottomatica S.p.A. It will manufacture the tickets for the Lottery at its facility in Plant City, Fla.
“This is a great start for us to service the Rhode Island Lottery in a broader capacity,” said Ross Dalton, GTECH senior vice president of Printed Products and Licensed Content.
