FALL RIVER – The Rockland Trust Co. recently provided $7.4 million in financing for a local residential redevelopment project, according to a news release.

The loan for Hajjar Management Co. will help fund a project to repurpose the former Notre Dame Grammar School at 34 Saint Joseph St. into a 48-unit apartment building known as The Lofts at Lafayette, the release stated.

The redevelopment project is expected to be finished in August 2023, and will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom and townhouse-style apartment units, each with two off-street parking spots.
