S2ware LLC launches new site, sees thousands of hits

RUMFORD – S2ware launched a new Web site, www.yachtsofstuff.com, and a site that connects boaters to marine suppliers, and has seen more than 10,000 hits.

Individual users post inquiries about boat parts and other marine supplies on the site free of charge, according to the company. Users interested in selling boat parts on the site, however, pay a posting subscription.

“Parts of boaters are not always readily available from retail outlets,” said Paul Sloan, in a company release. “YachtsofStuff.com is designed so boating enthusiasts can find and sell boating supplies at a centralized site to a worldwide audience.”

Shazamm launches new media site for ESPN outdoors

PROVIDENCE – Shazamm Inc., a digital design firm, has launched a new media site for ESPN Outdoors, the designation site for ESPN events including the Great Outdoor Games, the B.A.S.S. events and others.

Media outlets can log onto one of the sites with a user name and password, with permission from ESPN, search results, event information or photos of athletes or attendees of the event. All of this information can then be downloaded – free of charge – for publication.

“We gave the site a clean, streamlined look with a color palette that reflects the outdoors,” said Dana Paul, chief executive of Shazamm. “We wanted to make the site’s navigation as easy as possible for the site’s visitors. They need access to the information they’re looking for quickly, because they’re meeting deadlines.”

This isn’t the first deal with ESPN for Shazamm. The company also developed ESPN’s media portal, ESPNeventmedia.com and ESPYmedia.com.
