PROVIDENCE (March 3, 2011) – Attorney Sara E. Sweeney has been appointed to the board of directors of the Rhode Island Women’s Bar Association (RIWBA).
RIWBA promotes the advancement of women in the legal profession, and provides seminars and networking opportunities targeting the needs, challenges and issues facing female attorneys in their practices.
“I am pleased and honored to be asked to join RIWBA’s board of directors,” Sweeney said. “It’s important to contribute to the betterment of the legal community and this is an outstanding organization to be part of.”
Sweeney, an associate in the Providence office of Taylor Duane Barton & Gilman, LLP is an experienced civil litigator focusing her trial practice on professional liability defense, employment law, premises liability, business litigation and insurance coverage issues. She is a graduate of the Roger Williams School of Law.
