PROVIDENCE – The U.S. Small Business Administration is holding a free training session on the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on July 17, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Warwick Public Library, the SBA announced Friday.

The session will feature SCORE volunteer David J. Lucier, of Lucier CPA Inc., who will be discussing tax changes affecting small businesses and individuals in the tax reform bill passed last year and offer tips on how small businesses could potentially lower their taxes so that they can reinvest in their business.

“This training is a great opportunity for small business owners to find out how the tax reform can help their business,” stated SBA District Director, Mark S. Hayward. “These reforms are geared toward expanding business opportunity through tax cuts and incentives to reinvest in your business.”

Attendees may find out more about the event and register at the SBA website.
