Schilling will speak to NEIT graduates in May

WARWICK – Former Red Sox pitcher and video game entrepreneur Curt Schilling will deliver the commencement address to New England Institute of Technology graduates on Sunday, May 1 in Providence.
Schilling, who retired from baseball in 2009, now owns a video game company called 38 Studios, which is in the process of relocating to downtown Providence after obtaining a $75 million loan guarantee from the R.I. Economic Development Corporation. The agreement calls for the company to create hundreds of jobs in the next few years.
This year marks New England Institute of Technology’s 70th commencement ceremony. •
