WARWICK – Secure Future Tech Solutions, a local IT services and consulting company, will celebrate its 25th year in operation this month.
Launched in 1992 as PC Troubleshooters Inc., the Warwick-based firm began as a “break-and-fix” shop focused on repair and maintenance. The company later changed its name to Secure Future Tech Solutions in 2014, to reflect its evolution as a provider of comprehensive IT support for small- and medium-sized businesses throughout New England.
Secure Future Tech’s service offerings now include cloud services and data storage, network video surveillance, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and maintenance for computers, networks and applications.
“When I established my business, originally called PC Troubleshooters, technology needs of the small business were simple,” said Eric M. Shorr, president and founder of Secure Future Tech. “I never imagined how critical technology would become to the growth of my clients. I am excited to continue servicing our amazing clients by helping to secure their networks and guide them in adopting cloud technologies to enhance and ensure their business success.”
Secure Future Tech attributes its success to providing a range of proactive solutions to boost productivity and prevent downtime, understanding the unique needs of clients, and investing in skilled engineers who are available around the clock.
The company has also been recognized as a Microsoft SMB Champion, an honor awarded to Microsoft Corp. partners that specialize in the small- and medium-sized business market and have demonstrated a commitment to advancing cloud-solution technology.
A statement from Secure Future Tech said the company “looks forward to working with even more New England law firms, property-management companies, small businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout this year and beyond.”
