PROVIDENCE – Social Enterprise Greenhouse named a new cohort of 12 social ventures from Rhode Island and Massachusetts in the organization’s Health and Wellness Accelerator Wednesday.
The three-month program began earlier this month. It will culminate with a pitch night on Dec. 5. Participants will receive an industry-tailored curriculum, peer learning, advising, and access to industry experts, among other perks.

Learn MoreThe program, which is conducted in partnership with Brown University, is funded by the R.I. Department of Labor and Training, Real Jobs Rhode Island, Newman’s Own Foundation and Delta Dental of Rhode Island.
SEG said the purpose of the program is to stimulate innovation in Rhode Island’s health and wellness sector, as well as expand the number of “do well, do good” businesses in the area.
