
WARWICK – The state is preparing to sell by auction a former textile mill building and surrounding site that it had acquired to complete the Apponaug circulator.
The mill, which has an unusual sawtooth roof, is located at 65 Centerville Road and is part of the Apponaug Commercial District, according to an ad posted by auctioneer SJ Corio Company.

The property includes a 39,094-square-foot brick building and 1.46 acres of surrounding land. The building dates to 1904 and originally was a part of the Apponaug Mill complex.
The sale by Corio is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. June 21. The onsite inspection is at 10 a.m. June 14.
