PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island has recorded the fourth-fewest number of business applications in the U.S., according to a recent study by Eton Venture Services. Business valuation firm based in Austin, Texas, used county data from the U.S. Census Bureau to find each state’s total business applications in 2022, which was the most recent year available.
