Worcester, MA – TANTARA Corporation, along with its large business mentor Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., announced that they were selected to receive the 2013 Nunn-Perry Award for Mentor-Protégé Excellence by the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs. The Nunn-Perry Award recognizes mentor-protégé teams that have excelled in the areas of quality, technical development, cost efficiencies and increased business opportunities for small disadvantaged firms.

The prestigious Nunn-Perry Award, named in honor of former Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry, was first awarded in 1995 to recognize outstanding Mentor-Protégé teams formed under the auspices of the DoD Mentor-Protégé program. The Department of the Army sponsored this winning team.
In business since 2000, TANTARA has matured into a technically competent, competitive, small business powerhouse in the environmental remediation and construction industry.
