(Pawtucket, RI, March 12, 2013)…Event Tickets, Sponsorships, and Raffle Tickets are now available for the Pawtucket Foundation 10th Annual Awards Celebration, to be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. The Awards Celebration is a unique opportunity to recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to Pawtucket. This event has grown to become one of Pawtucket’s premiere business events, with upwards of 400 business, non-profit and governmental leaders in attendance annually. The Pawtucket Foundation utilizes this occasion to celebrate organizational accomplishments and showcase upcoming projects.
This year’s event features a vibrant networking cocktail hour with music provided by the JMW School for the Performing Arts Jazz Band, hors d’oeuvres, a Lucky-Number Auction of fabulous prizes, delicious sit-down dinner by Russell Morin Fine Catering, followed with an upbeat and exciting program celebrating the honorees.

• Gold Tickets can be purchased for $250 each and includes 1 event ticket, 1 raffle ticket and a 140-character message to honoree(s) to be included in the evening’s program and video.
• Blue Tickets cost $150 each and includes 1 event ticket and 1 Lucky Number Auction ticket.
GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE: TOUR OF ITALY
Tickets are currently on sale for the event’s grand raffle prize, a Collette Vacations 10-Day Tour of Italy for 2. The lucky winner will be able to choose their favorite from one of three Italy tours: Reflections of Italy, Rome and Amalfi Coast, or Crossroads of Sicily. LUCKY-NUMBER AUCTION
Each guest present will receive 1 ticket for the Lucky-Number Auction, and must be present to win the Lucky-Number Auction prizes. Additional tickets, for the Lucky-Number Auction, will be sold for $20 each. Prizes for the Lucky-Number Auction include: wine glasses from Lolita, Half-Suite at Pawtucket Red Sox, Gift Certificate to Facing Thayer Spa, 4 Seats to Boston Red Sox, Alex & Ani Gift Basket, and more.

HONOREES
The highlight of this event will be celebrating the achievements of this year’s honorees: Ms. Gretchen Dow Simpson for Special Distinction, Mr. Stewart “Nick” H. Steffey, Jr. for Heritage Award, and Mr. William J. Hunt for Person of the Year.
The Special Distinction Award signifies important accomplishments in a particular field of the community. This award will be presented to Ms. Gretchen Dow Simpson for outstanding accomplishments in the visual arts.
The Heritage Award recognizes an outstanding long-term commitment to the City of Pawtucket and its residents. The 2013 Heritage Award will be presented to Mr. Stewart “Nick” H. Steffey, Jr., Executive Chairman and Founder of Narragansett Bay Insurance Company.
The Person of the Year Award recognizes a business leader who has significantly contributed to the community through his generosity, leadership, service and participation with numerous charities and institutions. Mr. William J. Hunt, president of Shove Insurance has demonstrated all these qualities through his involvement as an active community citizen.
