Brave oversees approximately $700 million in client assets and brings eight employees, including four advisers, to AlphaCore.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1992, Brave specializes in wealth management and family office services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The practice is led by founder Brett Haire and President Scott Morrison.
AlphaCore said the acquisition expands its footprint in a key strategic market while strengthening its advisory capabilities in the Northeast. Brave’s Tiverton office will remain part of the combined firm’s regional presence alongside a new office in Summit.
“We are intentional about who we partner with and where we invest,” AlphaCore founder and CEO Dick Pfister said in a statement, calling Brave “a foundational investment” in the firm’s long-term Northeast growth strategy.
Brave clients will gain access to AlphaCore’s broader suite of services, including tax strategy, trust and estate planning, philanthropic planning and investment research.
“Our team has always focused on building strong relationships and helping families navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with wealth,” Morrison and Haire said in a joint statement.
Turkey Hill Management advised Brave on the transaction.
