EAST PROVIDENCE – Nonprofit senior living community Tockwotton on the Waterfront recently elected two new members, Courtney E. Moody and Brian LaFauci, to its board of directors.
Tockwotton has provided care for seniors since 1856, when 16 Providence women established a home for the elderly that would offer care and good cheer in comfortable surroundings.

Moody, a Seekonk resident, will serve on the board’s fund development committee.
Moody is the sole proprietor of Mood Marketing & Events, a Massachusetts digital and content marketing company, and is also a real estate agent at Century 21 Topsail Realty in Bristol.
LaFauci, a Scituate resident, has been elected to the board of directors and will serve on the board’s strategic planning committee. LaFauci, a former Air National Guard officer, is the program manager for the Rhode Island National Guard’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program.
LaFauci is also president of Liberalis LLC in Lincoln, a real estate investment and development company.
In 2013, Tockwotton built a new facility in East Providence, “Tockwotton on the Waterfront,” designed to resemble family households.
The $52.3 million building is set on 6 acres along the East Providence waterfront. The five-story, 137,754-square-foot, Nantucket-style building features five “households” and 156 individual apartments with assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
