Transport Act includes $2 million for Washington Bridge

WASHINGTON, D.C. — An additional $2 million has been included in the House Transportation
Appropriations Act to continue work on the Washington Bridge segment of repairs
on Route 195 in Rhode Island. The allotment in the next fiscal year is an addition
to the $5.26 million included in the last fiscal year for the relocation of the
highway. The inclusion of the sum in the Act is still subject to approval by the
full House and final approval in a Senate-House conference.
