ATTLEBORO – TriMark USA Inc., a supplier of equipment, supplies and design services to the U.S. food-services industry, has completed its acquisition of Cleveland-based competitor S.S. Kemp & Co. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“The acquisition of S.S. Kemp will enhance TriMark’s growing national footprint and strengthen its supplies business,” said Geoffrey S. Renhert, co-CEO of the Audax Group, an investment firm with offices in Boston and New York that acquired TriMark in November. The acquisition will strengthen TriMark’s presence in the Cleveland and Pittsburgh markets, the company said.

Audax Group and TriMark were advised in the transaction by Ropes & Gray LLP; debt financing was provided through increased commitments from GSO Capital and BlackRock Kelso Capital.
