PROVIDENCE – Twin River Worldwide Holdings has entered into a letter of intent to occupy 12,000 square feet on the sixth floor of Wexford Science and Technology Building, located at 225 Dyer Street, the company announced on Monday.
The company said that if all of the conditions of its letter of intent and lease are met by June 30, then it expects to occupy the new space in the first half of 2021. The space would be the company’s new headquarters.

The sixth and seventh floors of the building are currently undeveloped, offering prospective tenants the freedom to build out offices that fit their needs.
The company recently relocated from their previous headquarters in Lincoln to 100 Westminster St., Providence.
The company also noted that it has proposed to sponsor the naming rights for the Providence waterfront park area near the Wexford building as part of its gaming proposal with International Game Technology PLC, announced last week.
The sponsorship would be $100,000 per year from 2020 through 2043.
“When we announced last year we would locate our corporate headquarters in our hometown of Providence, we noted we wanted to be a part of the city’s resurgence, but now, we want to be one of its catalysts,” said Marc Crisafulli, executive vice president of TRWH and president of its Rhode Island operations. One material way we can do that is to locate a good number of our employees in an up-and-coming region of the city and in a building that was designed to celebrate the growing entrepreneurial spirit of the city, and more broadly, across the state.”
Crisafulli said that 30 employees from the executive, legal, finance, technology and human resources sectors of the company would initially be housed at Wexford. The company expects to expand its footprint in the building over time, if the lease comes to fruition.
