PROVIDENCE – Twin River Worldwide Holdings Inc. is moving its headquarters to Providence, the company announced Monday.

The casino and horse track gaming company will have offices on the 10th floor of 100 Westminster St. The move is scheduled to be complete by mid-June, the company said.

The company is currently headquartered in Lincoln.

“With a geographic footprint that now spans the entire country, we explored many potential options for our new corporate headquarters, but locating in Providence just felt right to us,” said Marc Crisafulli, executive vice president of Twin River in a statement. “Our roots in this state run deep, as do our relationships with our stakeholder community. Importantly, it allows us to remain in close proximity to our flagship property, Twin River Casino Hotel in Lincoln, and our sister property in Tiverton, our 2,500 Rhode Island employees and millions of customers.”

The company noted that among its 2,500 Rhode Island employees were 65 senior-level executives. Crisafulli also said that the company expects to expand the number of senior-level employees in the state “shortly.”

The company owns and operates Twin River Casino Hotel in Lincoln and Tiverton Casino Hotel, as well as properties in Mississippi, Colorado and Delaware.

100 Westminster is owned and operated by Paolino Properties.
