BankNewport has made a corporate match donation of $69,043 to the United Way of Rhode Island Community Impact Fund to help support programs for the homeless in the state.
“At BankNewport, we are proud that our United Way workplace giving campaign has historically set the pace for others throughout Newport County,” said BankNewport Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Sandra J. Pattie. “Our campaign success is a direct reflection of our employees’ commitment and belief that the United Way strengthens the lives of individuals, children and families throughout our communities.”
“We are truly appreciative of BankNewport’s unwavering generosity,” said United Way of Rhode Island President and CEO Anthony Maione. “In addition to BankNewport’s financial contributions, BankNewport employees have been involved with United Way in many different volunteer roles.” Maione noted that Pattie is a member of United Way’s Community Advisory Board.
BankNewport has supported the United Way’s annual fundraising campaigns since the late 1980’s.
