Gil completed an orthopedic surgery residency and orthopedic trauma fellowship at Brown University before completing a hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Edward Akelman, president of University Orthopedics, said the addition of both surgeons is welcome.
“Dr. Kleinhenz has demonstrated an eagerness to treat patients using the latest technological advances available,” he said, adding that Dr. Gil’s “passion for advanced orthopedic research aligns with our mission to deliver care integrated with world class education and research.”
