What role does diversity and inclusion play in your hiring and promotion decisions? University Orthopedics utilizes a diversity and inclusion committee that consists of a cohort of staff across a variety of locations and job functions. The charter of this committee is to work in parallel with our managers and human resource team to make diversity and inclusion a priority.
How do you support community service work by your employees? We provide staff with a paid day off each year to provide service to a cause important to them. We also organize other opportunities. Many volunteer at the Dr. Mark Palumbo annual 5K, where the proceeds support a local charity. Our charitable giving committee identifies and partners with local charities to support a variety of causes.
