WARWICK – Norwegian Air is discontinuing its seasonal service from T.F. Green Airport to Edinburgh, Scotland, and Belfast, Northern Ireland, USA Today reported Tuesday.

The flights will run their course through Oct. 27, the planned seasonal end, but will not return.

The company will still offer its year-round flights to Dublin, Ireland, and seasonal service to Cork, Ireland, and Shannon, Ireland.

The company also eliminated service to Edinburgh and Belfast from its Newburgh, N.Y., hub.

The company blamed Scottish travel taxes for its reasoning of pulling out of Edinburgh, however it will maintain some operations in the Scottish city.

The company is pulling out of Belfast entirely.
