T.F. Green Airport is on a roll, having gone from offering 17 nonstop destinations to 33 in the span of a few months, according to Iftikhar Ahmad, Rhode Island Airport Corp. president and CEO. The most recent expansion is by Frontier Airlines, which will soon offer service to six new cities with low-fare travel from the Warwick airport. The announcement brings to 19 the new routes added this year. “Our focus has not only been on new destinations but recapturing popular markets that are important to our customers,” Jon Savage, chairman of the R.I. Airport Corp. board of directors, said in the July 18 announcement.
