The Peregrine Falcon is a true success story, coming back from the brink of extinction. For over a decade, a pair has chosen to call Providence home. These Peregrines nest and fledge young each year atop the “Superman Building” at 111 Westminster Street.
A Party for the Peregrines will include live and silent auctions as well as creative cocktails and sumptuous hors d’oeuvres. All of Audubon’s live raptors will be presented during the evening, as will the Providence Peregrine Webcam. Dozens of interesting and desirable items will be on display for auction bidding.
Proceeds will support the Audubon Raptor Care and Rescue Programs, Raptors in Schools, Audubon Providence Peregrine Webcam, and Raptor Weekend. Funds raised will also help to protect thousands of acres of valuable habitat for these birds and other creatures.
