Virgin Pulse’s Brizzolara named Wellness Ambassador of the Year by wellness conference

PROVIDENCE – Jeff Brizzolara, chief clinical officer for Virgin Pulse, has been recognized as Wellness Ambassador of the Year by the Wellness 360 Conference, the company announced Thursday.

The award will be presented to Brizzolara at the conference on Friday. The award is given to a person who represents “the heart and soul of a company’s wellness program,” according to the conference. Only one person receives the award each year.

Brizzolara has been developing and leading health-management organizations, preventative-medicine clinics and well-being programs for more than two decades, the company said. Virgin Pulse also said Brizzolara’s role as a wellness ambassador extends beyond the workplace into his personal life, including the maintenance of his own personal health as well as others, including charitable wellness endeavors.
