Wall Street financial investor to speak at Roger Williams University

Prominent Wall Street investor Mario J. Gabelli, benefactor of the Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University, will speak at the university on Friday, October 18, 2002. The inaugural lecture of the business school’s “Distinguished Leader Lecture Series” and part of the Alumni Family Weekend festivities, Gabelli will speak on “How to Earn a Double-Digit Return in a World of Extreme Volatility and High Valuations.” The lecture will be held in room 157 of the Feinstein College of Arts and Sciences Building at 4 p.m. on the Bristol campus at One Old Ferry Road.

Gabelli is the chairman, CEO, and chief investment officer of Gabelli Asset Management, Inc. A member of the board of trustees at Roger Williams since 1990, Gabelli was awarded an honorary doctor of business degree and became the business school’s benefactor in 1992.
