Washington Trust opens 17th branch, in Cranston

CRANSTON – The Washington Trust Co. has opened its 17th branch, at 1203 Oaklawn Ave. in Cranston, a 3,400-square-foot facility offering the full range of banking services – personal banking, business banking, mortgage banking, and trust and investment services.
The branch also has three drive-through lanes and both a drive-up and walk-up ATM.
Inside, the branch features amenities such as flat-screen TVs in waiting areas and teller stations designed to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Cranston has proven to be a strong market for the Westerly-based bank.
“We’ve had much success with our Reservoir Avenue location,” said Jack F. Treanor, president and chief operating officer, “and hope this new location will add more convenience to our customers in the Cranston and Warwick area.”
