PROVIDENCE – Fifteen houses and apartments on the West Side of Providence will be opened for public tours Oct. 7 as part of the West Broadway Neighborhood Association’s House Tour 2017.

The theme is “from vacant to vibrant,” reflecting the transition of the neighborhood over recent years. The self-guided tour costs $20 in advance, $25 day of tour and will include stops on Knight, Brighton, Battey, Carpenter and West Fountain streets.

The eclectic selection of homes includes affordable, market-rate, renter and owner-occupied Victorians, renovated mills and new construction, according to the neighborhood association’s description.

The tour is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 7. The tours start at the Providence Revolving Fund offices, 372 West Fountain St. For more information, visit wbna.org/house-tour-2017.
