WESTERLY – A physician specializing in interventional pain management and spine care has established the Westerly Spine & Pain Center in a suite on the first floor of The Westerly Hospital, through a collaborative agreement with the hospital.
The center’s founder is Dr. Adrian K. Hamburger, who is board certified in pain management and anesthesiology and employs a multidisciplinary approach to pain management, with a “strong emphasis” on non-narcotic treatments, the hospital said.
Hamburger has expertise in nerve pain, work and sports-related injuries, shingles and reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). He also provides interventional management of chronic lower-back pain resulting from degenerative disc disease, stenosis, herniated discs, nerve impingement, facet joint arthritis and other degenerative spine diseases.
