White Jr. reassumes CEO role at Taco

CRANSTON – Taco Inc. owner and Chairman John Hazen White Jr. has reassumed his role as CEO of Taco Comfort Solutions, effective immediately, the company announced Thursday.

White had previously served as CEO before promoting Wil VandeWiel. At the time White said the transition would allow him to focus more on strategic planning as well as global growth of Taco Comfort Solutions.

“Nearly four years ago I asked Wil VandeWiel to take the company into Europe and grow our businesses domestically and internationally,” White said. “With Taco well on its way to meeting those goals, Wil has decided that he would like to pursue other opportunities, and I have accepted his decision.”

The company also announced that John White III and Benjamin White have been appointed vice presidents of the company.
