Whole Foods offers register coupons to benefit Crossroads

The Whole Foods Market on Waterman Street in Providence is running a register coupon program to benefit Crossroads Rhode Island. During the promotion, which began last month and runs through February, customers can make a donation to Crossroads by using $2 or $5 coupons at the registers.

“Whole Foods Market is passionate about supporting the community, and the Waterman Street store is proud to offer this help to Crossroads Rhode Island for their outstanding efforts in our community,” said Nina Hewitt, the store’s marketing team leader.

In 2006, Crossroads served 4,770 people at its main facility in Providence, including 3,929 who were new to homelessness.
