CHESTNUT HILL, MA (08.14.13) – – Pine Manor’s Center for Innovative Professional Development announced today it has been chosen as the exclusive New England chapter of the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL-USA).  Beginning this fall, the Center will offer educational services in problem solving and leadership development that form the core of the Action Learning process.

 

“As the only WIAL chapter in the region, the Center makes access to valuable Action Learning programs easy and convenient for area individuals and organizations,” said Dean of the Center Dr. Charles A. Tweedly. “More and more organizations are finding that having a certified Action Learning Coach in meetings greatly improves the chances of resolving complex and critical problems.  We believe the Center’s affiliation with WIAL will help professionals in New England enhance their careers and add value to their organizations.”

The Center has two, two-day Action Learning workshops coming up: Foundations of Action Learning on October 7-8 and Certification for Action Learning Coaches(CALC 1) on
