The Pawtucket Citizens Development Corporation has received the 2007 Citizens Bank Housing Heroes Award, which comes with a $50,000 grant from the Citizens Bank Foundation.
The grant program recognizes a successful project that has created affordable housing units in the state. PCDC has created more than 103 housing units in Pawtucket in the past 17 years.
“We will use the resources that this award brings to further our housing production goal of creating 100 new units of affordable housing in Pawtucket,” said Nancy Whit, executive director of PCDC. “We are grateful to Citizens Bank for this recognition and for its efforts to support and promote affordable housing throughout Rhode Island.”
