WARWICK – A $5,000 donation from AAA Northeast will help Thrive Behavioral Health Inc. better serve Rhode Island residents, as the COVID-19 public health crisis continues.
The funding, announced last week, comes from AAA Northeast’s Charitable Giving Program.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many Rhode Islanders have experienced dramatically increased levels of social isolation, mental health symptoms and substance use,” said Daniel Kubas-Meyer, Thrive’s CEO and president. “As a result, their mental health has destabilized. This funding will be used to connect Rhode Islanders with the tools and resources they need to improve their quality of life during these very uncertain times.”
The nonprofit offers a wide range of services to people of all ages who are struggling with mental health issues, risky substance use or homelessness.
