A. Austin Ferland has assumed sole ownership of the Ferland Corporation,
based in Smithfield. The company operates the Ferland Property Management Company
and Diversified Property Services. Ferland is a third generation member of the
family, which founded the business as A. Ferland and Sons in Pawtucket in the
early 1940’s.
