Anthony J. Garro has been promoted to vice president of Beta Group Inc. after serving most recently as a senior associate. He is responsible for managing the firm’s geographic-information systems/asset-management department. Garro brings to his role more than 22 years of experience. He is the Rhode Island director of the New England chapter of the American Public Works Association. •
