Stephen E. Adamo has been appointed president of the Rhode Island Mortgage Bankers Association. He is president and chief operating officer of Citizens Mortgage Corporation and has more than 13 years experience in the mortgage and banking industry. He has been with Citizens since 1995. Adamo holds board positions with Fannie Mae’s North East Regional Office, the Rhode Island ALS Foundation and Consumer Credit Counseling of Southern New England. He is a graduate of Merrimack College in Andover, Mass. He resides in East Greenwich with his wife Susan and two children.
