Philip Edward Masquelette has been appointed vice president/Citizens services group at Citizens Bank. He was formerly employed as senior attorney at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in East Hartford, Connecticut. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Tulane University Louisiana in 1974 and a doctorate in jurisprudence in law from the University of Houston in Texas. Masquelette is active with the New England Corporate Counsel Association in Ashland, Massachusetts, the Commission on Ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island, and the Development Committee of the Wheeler School in Providence. He is a resident of Hope.
