Thomas M. Bain, assistant vice president and compliance officer at Centreville Savings Bank of West Warwick, has been named to the board of directors at the Business Development Company of Rhode Island. He is responsible for coordinating Centreville Savings Bank’s adherence to state and federal regulatory requirements. He was formerly employed at the former Bank of New England, Old Colony, and Bank Boston, formerly Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank. Bain holds a bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams University and a master’s from Salve Regina University. He is a member of the Community Reinvestment Act Committee of the Rhode Island Bankers Association and is on the board of the Credit Executives Association of Southeastern New England, of which he is past president.
