Beth Simone has been named development director at Rhode Island Public Radio. Most recently, she served as the director of development at Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County. In her new role, Simone will be responsible for managing and growing major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, and membership. She holds a master’s in communication studies from the University of Rhode Island. •
