The Southern New England Entrepreneurs Network (SNEEF) at UMass Dartmouth, will present a forum “Building Online Trust”, Thursday, March 10, 5:30-8 p.m., Advanced Technology Manufacturing Center, 151 Martine Street, Fall River.
Fahri Karakaya, Professor of Marketing and Director of the eCommerce Network at UMass Dartmouth, will make a presentation on how to build trust online when customers shop with known and unknown stores / vendors. Customers are mainly concerned with credit card usage, identity theft, and privacy of their information. Companies are concerned with losing customers and business. Karakaya is the co-author of three books: “Barriers to Entry and Market Entry Decisions,” “How to Utilize New Information technology in International Business,” “Utilizing New Information technology in Teaching of International Business.”
