Catherine Zipf joined Salve Regina University‘s history department. She has served as assistant professor, instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Virginia School of Architecture. Zipf is a past recipient of the University of Virginia’s Dupont Fellowship for Architectural Study and Weedon Fellowship for Study Abroad, and Harvard University’s Rudolph Arnheim Award and Ford Foundation Grant. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and a master’s degree and Ph.D from the University of Virginia. Zipf lives in Newport.
