CCAP announces 4th annual Chip for Charity golf tournament

WARWICK – Celebrating its fourth annual iteration, the Comprehensive Community Action Program announced its Chip for Charity nine-hole golf tournament will take place Sept. 13 at Harbor Lights in the city’s Warwick Neck neighborhood.

The largest fundraiser hosted by the nonprofit, the event will commence with a morning round of golf followed by an afternoon round as well as the CCAP Million Dollar Hole-in-One reception.

In 2017, CCAP aided more than 37,000 people in crisis – be it due to unemployment, illness, or another cause for concern – providing more than $1.2 million.
