PROVIDENCE – The owners of two former trucking companies that carried waste and scrap metal through Rhode Island and Massachusetts were each sentenced to 12 months’ probation and fined $1,250 for directing employees to falsify federally mandated driver vehicle inspection reports and allowing trucks in need of repair to remain on the road.
