Centreville Bank selects Jack Henry & Associates for tech upgrades

CENTREVILLE BANK has invested in several platform products from financial technology company Jack Henry & Associates to expand its digital and commercial banking capabilities, automate manual processes and improve internal workflows as the bank grows.

WEST WARWICK – Centreville Bank has invested in several platform products from financial technology company Jack Henry & Associates Inc. as the nearly 200-year-old mutual bank continues to expand in Rhode Island and Connecticut.

The bank will use Jack Henry’s core processing platform along with its Banno Digital Platform, which will provide digital banking capabilities for retail and business customers; its JHA Treasury Management platform, which offers enhanced cash management capabilities for commercial clients; and its Enterprise Workflow product and Synapsys customer relationship management platform, which will help automate manual processes, improve internal efficiencies and support a more seamless customer and employee experience, according to Jack Henry.

“There’s a lot of excitement about the opportunities this move will create for our customers, employees, and future growth,” Jillian J. DeShiro, Centreville’s executive vice president and chief financial and operating officer, said in a statement. “Jack Henry gives us the flexibility to add new capabilities as our customers’ needs evolve and continue delivering the personalized banking experience that sets Centreville Bank apart.”

Founded in 1828, Centreville has grown in recent years through acquisitions, geographic expansion and increased commercial lending. It now has $3 billion in assets and 26 locations across Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut.

Centreville’s selection was influenced by Jack Henry’s technology strategy, workflow automation capabilities and ability to support the bank’s growth, according to a Jack Henry news release.

“We’ve been serving our communities for nearly 200 years, and we’ve continued to evolve alongside the needs of our customers,” DeShiro said. “With Jack Henry, we’re investing in technology that will grow alongside our customers, employees, and communities.”
