What three words best describe your staff? Dedicated, innovative, c­ompassionate.

How would you describe the culture of your workplace? Family is a great word to describe the culture at Children’s Friend. We support each other and take care of each other.

What role does diversity and inclusion play in your hiring and promotion decisions? Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are keys to the success of our work at Children’s Friend. We work to ensure these principles are represented in all levels and aspects of our agency, including board, employee and client groups and task forces, compensation, training and performance expectations.

Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? We have a focus and commitment to develop and promote our employees. We give preference to existing staff in promotion opportunities. In fact, the majority of our executive leadership team represents internal promotions.
