How has COVID-19 changed your industry? Even before the pandemic, the legal industry had been emphasizing the ability to work on the go and to increase our accessibility and ability to respond to client needs at all hours. The pandemic accelerated that trend, forcing remote even those events that typically occurred in person (depositions, hearings). Coming out of the pandemic, there is a far greater interest and comfort with proceeding remotely.
What is the best advice you have ever received? “If you believe you can achieve, you will succeed.” – My elementary school’s motto.
What was your first job? Summer clerk for the Pawtucket Police Department.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Make friends in law school. They, along with excellent grades, will help you get to where you want to go in spite of the Great Recession of 2008-09.
What moment changed your life more than any other? The unexpected passing of my younger brother.
Fox or MSNBC? 98.5 The Sports Hub.
What led you to pursuing a career in your current industry? As a young child (6-7 years old), I recall discussing with a family friend where I’d like to go to college. After listing some schools, the friend said, “Oh, you must want to be a lawyer then,” and that is where my journey to the law began. nthe prop Christopher Wildenhain holds a laptop and Nintendo 3DS. The laptop is an essential tool for modern law practice and Wildenhain’s passion for legal technology has its origins in his love for video games. “I have better luck on the Mario Golf course, than the real ones,” he says.
