CRANSTON – CODAC Behavioral Healthcare has publicly announced its new chief operating officer.
Susan Figueiredo, a licensed mental health and alcohol and drug counselor, began in the role on Nov. 4. Her oversight will include clinical operations as CODAC seeks to improve efficiency along with a range of other goals.
A Fall River native, Figueiredo has served as an administrator for various substance abuse programs, including inpatient, outpatient, opioid treatment, medication-assisted treatment and community-based programs.
“I am very excited about this opportunity and next chapter in my professional journey. CODAC’s vision aligns with the very reason I moved into management – access, quality and sustainability. I look forward to working with the staff and supporting the organization’s growth,” she said.
Linda Hurley, CODAC’s CEO and president, said the organization is looking forward to Figueiredo’s contributions.
“Susan has already demonstrated leadership and strategic planning to ensure the success of CODAC’s mission. We look forward to her continued success,” Hurley said.
