EAST PROVIDENCE – Contractors Supply Inc. has acquired Driscoll Sales & Distributing LLC, located in Weymouth, Mass.
Contractors Supply, which distributes building materials for commercial, industrial and residential construction through partnerships with manufacturers throughout the United States, will retain all 6 employees of Driscoll Sales & Distributing.
In total, Contractors Supply Inc. now has 47 employees with locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Driscoll’s former ownership has retired and will not stay on with Contractors Supply.
Contractors Supply Inc.’s President David B. Murphy Jr. told PBN Thursday that the company works in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire, with occasional jobs in New York and Vermont.
“This partnership is a continuation of Contractors Supply Inc.’s consistent growth trajectory in the Northeast, fueled organically and through strategic acquisition of expansive market opportunities,” said Murphy in a statement. “Most importantly, the partnership will build upon and enhance the culture of customer service for which both Contractors Supply Inc. and Driscoll Sales & Distributing LLC are known.”
